Built-in Breathalyzers Could Sample Cabin Air

DUIs are a major cause of death in the US and built-in breathalyzers such as the ones discussed in the articles below could link to the owner’s car CPU to prevent the vehicle from starting if certain levels of alcohol are detected. Cleyx’s Élysées project discussed on our homepage is a device that will help with this alcohol issue by essentially making the drinker unable to get inebriated (drunk) regardless of the alcohol content of the beverage they drink. We hope to resume work on this project soon after Rover hits the market.
